The city is known to be the world’s media frenzy and is surrounded by well-known members of the television and film industry. If you’re even remotely interested in the industry, L.A. is the number one place to be.

While you’re in town for the festival, there are plenty of sightseeing tours, studio sets, and tourist attractions you can explore. Whether you want to hike to see the iconic Hollywood sign or tour famous studio sets such as Warner Brothers, there’s plenty to see and do in the City of Angels.

If you aren’t a lover of theme park rides, you can join a behind-the-scenes tour of the film-making with the world-famous Universal Studios tour. Aspiring filmmakers will leave Universal Studios feeling inspired after experiencing the heart of L.A.’s film industry. 

Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica, a coastal town in Los Angeles County, is mostly known for the Santa Monica Pier where you walk along the boardwalk, shop, and visit the amusement park attractions that have existed since the 1930s. You can also visit Santa Monica Beach located off the Pacific Coast Highway, and spend your day lounging on a beach chair and enjoying the beautiful ocean views.
